While we’re on the shoe tip, we’re reminded of a recent discussion we had with one of our good friends and style blogger extraordinaire, Grant Harris of ImageGranted (http://www.imagegranted.com/) and The Selected Few. On his recent biz trip to NYC, we met up with Grant and had the opportunity throughout that day to hear about Grant’s perspectives on menswear, style and the art of dressing well.
Amongst the many sartorial ‘juelz’ he dropped on us was one which is a part of his personal mandate for 2012 which focuses on shoes. Although he favors many styles and finishes (including a very snazzy leather wingtip brogue which he was sporting that day), for 2012 he plans on making it a year for suede. Like him, we’re fans of the material having owned quite an embarrassingly large number of suede hoofs over the years and so, as we tip our cap to him for his razor sharp style sensibility, we offer up this exquisite example from Uncle Ralph’s Purple Label line..
Rock these (or any similar quality suede jump offs) and take your hoof game to the pro level; just don’t try to style on Grant if you run into him….you will get shut down and it won’t be pretty. Real talk.
