Ok, we’re gonna keep it one hunnerd wit y’all, this ain’t a 2012 look. It ain’t even a 2011 look. Does it really matter? Of course, we like to stay current like most cats in the style game but as we’ve observed before, real style ain’t necessarily about being current. That’s fashion.
Style is the process of creating what works for you by mastering the rules and then twisting, altering, bending or ultimately, breaking a few to craft something that’s uniquely YOU.
That said, we don’t care if we have to dig in the deepest corners of our wardrobe to bring back a piece from the eighties (ok, we exaggerated that but you catch our drift right?), if it works! This look isn’t that old however; it’s from the good folks at Canali from their A/W 2010 collection and while it’s OTR, a few nips and tucks from your fav (and trusted!!!) tailor should make this piece sit quite nicely on you not to mention draw quite a few admiring looks from the ladies which is ALWAYS a good thing!
