It’s one of life’s truisms that if you live long enough, you see quite a few expectations come to pass and quite a few fashion trends either come around again or suddenly appear.
Truth be told, we used to do this all the time (we’ll post a pic of the now somewhat tattered coat in a minute) but this example from Tomas Maier shows how the unconventional sometimes becomes mainstream.
