On a rainy and somewhat gloomy day in NYC, one can still have the cheery good fortune to run into friends you may not have seen for years…
Even knowing that, I was pleasantly surprised to bump into long time friend, the Frenchman, Francois Alexander, one of the most successful fashion executives (along with his then business partner Patricia Oppenheimer) in the industry. As one half of the duo behind the wildly successful company Nexxus Showroom, Alex and Patricia repped some of the most talented new designers from all over the world, gaining entree for them into some of the world’s most prestigious retail doors.
